📣 Important Update
First, I want to sincerely thank all of my customers for their support and trust in my work. As many of you know, taxidermy is a detailed process that requires significant time, care, and space.
I also want to say that the vast majority of my customers are fantastic and already pick up their mounts within a few days of being notified that they are complete. This new policy will likely only affect a small number of customers. However, when finished birds remain in my shop for extended periods, it creates storage issues, delays the next batch of work, and impacts my ability to order and manage supplies efficiently.
To keep projects moving and provide the best service possible to everyone, I will be implementing the following policy beginning July 1, 2026:
🦆 New Deposit & Pickup Policy
• A 50% deposit of the estimated total cost will be required when dropping off your bird.
• Once your mount is completed, you will have 10 days to arrange pickup.
• After 10 days, a $5 per day storage fee will be added.
• Projects not picked up within 30 days of completion will be considered forfeited. At that point, materials and supplies associated with the project may be repurposed for future work. No refunds will be issued.
To help everyone plan ahead, I will contact customers approximately two weeks before I begin work on their bird. Once mounted, birds typically require about two weeks to dry before they are ready for pickup. This means customers will receive approximately one month’s notice before pickup is expected.
I understand this is a significant change, but it is necessary to keep projects moving efficiently and to continue providing quality work in a timely manner. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support.
As always, I greatly appreciate each and every customer who trusts me with their birds and supports this small business.
