Discipline Over Motivation

Motivation is great when it’s there… but the truth is, it won’t always be.

There will be days you’re tired.
Days you’re stressed.
Days you’d rather stay on the couch.

That’s where discipline takes over.

You don’t work out because you feel motivated.
You work out because your health matters.
Because your future matters.
Because being strong enough to live life on your terms matters.

At CrossFit RHK, we believe results aren’t built from one workout, one good week, or one burst of motivation.

They’re built from showing up consistently.

A huge congratulations to our May Hustlers Club Members who attended 15+ classes this month! 👏💪

These athletes made the commitment to themselves, prioritized their health, and continued to put in the work even when life got busy.

Consistency isn’t always exciting.
It’s early mornings.
Busy schedules.
Sore muscles.
Choosing yourself even when it’s hard.

And that’s exactly why it matters.

Wellness Wednesday 🚣‍♀️

Why We Row at CrossFit RHK

You’ll often see rowing programmed into our warm-ups and workouts — and for good reason. The rower is one of the BEST full-body, low-impact conditioning tools out there. 💪

What is rowing good for?

✅ Builds cardiovascular endurance
✅ Strengthens legs, glutes, core, and back
✅ Improves stamina and recovery
✅ Burns calories efficiently
✅ Increases power output
✅ Low impact on joints compared to running
✅ Great for all fitness levels

Fun fact:

The rowing movement pattern is very similar to a deadlift. 👀

When rowing correctly, you’re:

* driving through your legs
* hinging at the hips
* engaging your posterior chain
* bracing your core

This is why rowing can help reinforce:
🏋️ Deadlift mechanics
🏋️ Hip power
🏋️ Core stability
🏋️ Conditioning under fatigue

Why we love it:

The rower allows athletes to push intensity without constantly pounding the knees and joints. It’s effective, scalable, and teaches full-body coordination while building engine and strength at the same time.

After June, we officially kick off our full Summer Youth Sessions for ages 2–13+ and spots are already filling FAST! ☀️
