This week’s Sunday Spotlight class is our Friday night tumbling class. These kiddos are ages 6-9 years old. They come in being able to independently back bend. Throughout the year they will work on limbers, walkovers, and will start introducing aerial cartwheels and back handsprings.

Bonus points in you can spot the parents in this picture.

Welcome to our FIRST Sunday Spotlight. Every Sunday we will shine a light on some of our amazing dancers and the things they have been accomplishing in class.

This week we visited our Combo 1 class. These kiddos will learn the intro to jazz and lyrical, they work on technique, and make friends along the way. These little nuggets are ready to work hard this season.

Welcome home? At the studio?

Well. I guess it depends on what “home” means to you. For me, home is a place of safety and comfort. A place of refuge. Home is a place of belonging. A place where you are loved, understood, and free from judgement. Home is a place of people and connections, often defined as family or loved ones, or a supportive community, rather than just walls and a roof. Home is a state of mind. A sense of familiarity that you can take with you when you leave. Home is an emotional sanctuary.

So, yes. Welcome home, dancers. We have missed you.
