Creve Coeur Lake Rentals was started in 2009 with a pop up umbrella, a lawn chair, and a mission of providing recreational opportunities to park visitors. Cheryl Beckmann, a retired physical education teacher of 30 years, rented 4 wheel quadricycles to families with small children, and older adults, who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the park trail. With a simple recipe of hard work and cust

omer service, what started as a weekend past time became increasingly popular with park patrons, and eventually evolved into Creve Coeur Lake Rentals. Amusingly known as “the lake lady”, Cheryl now operates her rental venue out of a gazebo on the beach on the southeast end of the lake.

BIG NEWS. Creve Coeur Lake Rentals is now Big Muddy Adventures at Creve Coeur Lake. After 16 years of bringing affordable family recreation to the park, Cheryl (alias the Lake Lady) is going to give retirement a try. But fear not. The much younger and energetic team of Big Muddy Adventures is excited to be taking over, and we’re excited for them. This was not an easy decision, but knowing the crew at Big Muddy shares our values and love of the lake made it so much easier. Opening May 1 it’s a new day. See you at the lake.

Big Muddy Adventures at Creve Coeur Lake offers hourly boat and bike rentals in a scenic St. Louis destination. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and biking for a relaxing day or active outdoor adventure.

We are so back starting this Tuesday, April 15th! Grab your sunscreen and your families and come out to kayak. We will be open by 9 AM and we will stop renting at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you out there!

Join us while you still can! The last day of the season is coming up on October 13th, so get out on the lake for some family fun before we close. We open at 9 AM everyday. The last rental is at 5:30 PM and everything must be returned by 6:30 PM at the latest. These hours will stay the same for the remainder of the season. Also, don’t forget that your second hour is still free Monday through Friday for the watercraft!
