I’ve said this before, I am in the second half of the fourth quarter. Next year I will be starting my 60th year of auto racing!
Climbing over that roll cage is getting harder every year.
Here are a few photos and description of one of the best swing-out side bars that I’ve ever seen.
Long time friend, Tony Goodman did all the cutting and fitting of the kit and Conner Sebright did all the tig welding. Tony has helped me build several race cars that I’ve owned since the late 1980’s. Conner while not 15 years old until one week from now, has been welding since he was five years old and owns his own Miller welder.
Conner’s father, Jim and grandfather, Jerry should be real proud of the great young man they have raised.
It’s cool to see a junior dragster racer, who can fix the problem, if there is one on his car, all by himself.

The HRS Roll Cage Swing-Out Kit features a proprietary design with a precision-machined fit that dramatically reduces the slop and bar drop commonly found in generic swing-out kits.
