School’s out. The novelty has worn off. The fridge has been opened 47 times today.

Time to get the kids out of the house.

At Matlock Minis, we spend our summer making friends, building confidence, learning respect and discipline, and occasionally roughhousing with style.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Josh won’t be able to make it tonight.

The good news? We’re already working on getting him rescheduled in the next week or two.

We’re bringing in 10th Planet Black Belt Josh Yelverton to drop some knowledge on us. If you’ve trained with Josh before, you already know the deal. If not, you’re in for a treat.

This Tuesday we’ll be welcoming back 10th Planet Black Belt Josh Yelverton for a donation-based seminar.

Josh has a knack for making high-level jiu jitsu easy to understand and even easier to apply. Expect some serious knowledge bombs, fresh ideas, and plenty of details you can put to work immediately.

All teams are welcome. Come learn a thing or two, get some good rolls in, and meet some new training partners.

Memorial Day weekend rolls on tonight. 🇺🇸

We’re thankful for the men and women who gave their all so we can gather, train, compete, and build community together.

Tonight we’ll be working grip fighting, collar ties, judo throws, and wrestle-ups.

20 mins of drilling followed by plenty of live rounds and hard work with the crew.

All levels welcome. Come train. 🥋
