Hey friends π
I wanted to jump on here today to fill you in on some things I've been working on and a few changes in my plans. But first I'd like to introduce myself to anybody new that doesn't know me.
So, here we go...
My name is Ashley Caviness and I am a NASM-CPT (National Academy of Sports Medicine-Certified Personal Trainer), a boy mom to 2 pretty cool, active guys, Stephen 15 & Derek 11, that keep me hopping from sport to sport and pretty busy. I'm also married to my high school sweet heart, Josh, and I help him landscape.
In my short 35 years of life, I have done many different things...
I worked as a Registered Medical Assistant in OB at the hospital for several years and then moved on to be a Phlebotomist and ran the lab for the doctor's office for a few years. When given the opportunity, I chose to stay home and raise my boys until school age and then became the school nurse and secretary where they went to school.
This was about the time my love for fitness began. 11 years ago, I decided to "get in shape" and start working out. I wasn't overweight, I just wanted to lose the baby weight I had gained. I hated the way I looked. My nutrition was horrible, I ate like crap, filling my body with crap, I couldn't even run around my block. I didn't really know where to begin. That was when I decided I wanted to be a personal trainer.
Since then, I have taken many courses to become educated and I'm still not done, as I don't think you can ever become too educated. I love learning and soon there will be more credentials to add after my name. This makes me proud, as it shows my hard work I've put towards my passion. It's not just about fitness, I'm so passionate about health. Mind and body!
I've held many bootcamps and trained one-on-one. I've worked with youth all the way to seniors. I love giving as much education as I can to my clients. Your success is my goal.
I founded ACFitness 3 years ago, starting in my basement. We ended up online, which is now a free group filled with awesome women and awesome workouts! If you happen to be interested in joining, just shoot me a message! We will get you added!!
My plans to return to live classes were put on hold due to COVID, like many other's plans. I hope to be able to offer those to you again soon but as of now I am offering one-on-one or small group training.

Whether you are man or woman, you want to gain muscle or lose fat, or even the combination of both, I can help you. This training will be solely focused towards your goals, not a one size fits all program.
