Are you a serious rider who enjoys a dad joke from time to time? Do you love half-halts AND the label maker? And want to be PAID to learn to be the best rider and trainer you can be, without being treated like 💩?

We’re a high-performance dressage stable looking for an apprentice who knows their way around a double bridle AND a pitchfork. We offer world-class training, a lighthearted atmosphere, and the kind of benefits your parents will actually be proud of (Health care! Retirement! Real housing!).

What you’ll do: ride, groom, muck, other farm chores, and be a part of our daily attempts at equestrian perfection.
What you’ll get: paid, housed, trained, and treated like a human being.

Applicants should be able to work in the US without sponsorship, lift 50 pounds, and actually show up. Our ideal candidate has either 3rd level+ mileage or young horse starting experience (or both!); a confident rider with an educated seat and an independent hand is a must. No pets, no smoking; applicants must use their words, appreciate dark humor, and play nicely with others.

We’re in Northern Virginia and Wellington, FL. Housing and salary included, as well as a full-training stall for the right candidate. Health Care Reimbursement and 401K for those who stay on for more than a minute. Daily lessons with TWO USDF Gold Medalists included whether you bring a horse or not.

Previous apprentices have gone on to be trainers, riders, vets, grooms, and general successes in the horse world (and in life, obviously 💁‍♀️)

Spring has sprung! That means we're only a few weeks away from the switch to night turnout. We're always eager to trade lessons (on your horse; we do not have lesson horses available) for help with bringing horses out around 8p every night, as soon as the nights stay above 50*.

This amazing all-day program includes discussions and presentations by industry professionals about running an equestrian business, insurance, financial planning, and efficiency in keeping horse businesses afloat and sustainable. Open to participants of all ages, and not just a dressage event! Whether you're a professional, an amateur, or a kid deciding whether to be one or the other; boarding stable owner or trainer, tack shop owners, working students, vet techs, bodyworkers... horse folks of all disciplines can't afford to miss this!
