This Saturday, the Mighty Musky will come alive as the Head of the Muskingum Regatta brings together 700+ athletes from 24 teams across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia for an exciting day of racing on the historic Muskingum River. The 250 entries will battle it out over a three-mile course, finishing just below the old railroad bridge.

Spectators can enjoy prime viewing from the Washington Street and Putnam Street Bridges, or from either riverbank along the course. The event highlights Marietta’s proud rowing tradition, with Harmar Rowing Club (Marietta HS in the spring) rowing out of the Carl L. Broughton Boathouse, and Marietta College competing from its renovated Lindamood VanVoorhis Boathouse.

Join us for a day of speed and riverfront excitement as the Head of the Muskingum Regatta once again celebrates the deep tradition of rowing in Marietta!
