Today is our final day at the Grand Central Mall.

The show starts @ Noon and will be here until 4PM today before taking the inventory back up to our Rink’s Flea Market location.

We personally want to thank so many people that we have done deals with and met, as it has been an absolute great show.

There have been so many pick ups and immediate flips that I haven’t been able to get all the pictures. I have posted below some of my favorites so check them out below!

What a busy weekend it was at the shop!

Thank you again for everyone that continues to support us and help us grow the hobby here in the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Our online Ebay stores were hot this week post the National and wanted to share some of the things that we have moved.

We are slowly adding more and more items to our Ebay store as well as looking into creating and online platform to make purchases with us in the future.

Don’t forget it’s show week at the Grand Central Mall as it starts Friday at 11AM. Can’t wait to see everyone and let’s make some deals.

We are just a few days away from our next card show at the Grand Central Mall.

The show is August 9th(11AM - 8PM), 10th(11AM-8PM), and 11th(12PM- 6PM)

It’s going to be an exciting show with some of the best card dealers and collectors from all over the Mid-Ohio Valley and throughout West Virginia and Ohio.

We are going to do some new exciting things ourselves so look for a few posts that will come out next week leading up to the week.

Our Rink’s location will still remain open normal hours(Friday-Sunday 9AM - 5PM.)

Come see some of our newest inventory and it will be your last chance to buy football cards before the start of the season.

Our weekend at the National has come and gone, but what an EXPERIENCE.

I am personally thankful that with attending my first national we scheduled ourselves at least two days as it could have easily been overwhelming.

My biggest takeaway is that the hobby is strong and growing in not just your normal football, baseball, and basketball selection but all of the major sports around the world. Non-sport is continuing to grow with the Star Wars, One Piece, Disney (Topps Chrome and Lorcana) with Pokémon still be as popular as ever.

Breaking is continuing to grow and was a major factor at the National. WhatNot had a very large presence with people breaking constantly. You’ll see in the pictures that it looked like you were in a casino in Vegas with the mega stream broadcasting every minute the venue was open.

Mystery Packs and Repackers are probably the second most noticeable and growing part of the hobby besides the breaking arena. This part of the hobby is growing at a very high and fast rate as prices continue to go up on many of our favorite cards it get the average spender a chance at a mega pull just like opening your own box. I am excited to see where this goes in the future.

Now about the Cards.. What you see at the National is second to none.

We were able to see the six new PSA 10/Auto 10 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan Rookies, multiple Mantle,Ruth, Gehrig cards that were constantly in the 6 to low 7 figures. The ultra modern selection of football was unreal with the chase of Downtowns and Kabooms from all collectors even 10 year olds.

My favorite part of the trip was the Trade Night Friday night as it was less attended but the people made it so wholesome and made many sweet deals. I cannot say enough great things about the people I came across last week and excited to experience again in the future.

Lastly, we have to share what we picked up. I would say I am slight disappointed with the amount of cards we came home with as we came home with more funds than we took after liquidating some cards and even purchasing a couple hobby boxes for wrapper redemption and mystery boxes form Blowout Cards. I have my pick-ups below and don’t have any pictures of all the great value box deals we did. I did make the mistake of not buying a few cards I would have loved to own as I wanted to see the entire show floor and by the time I went back both cards I truly wanted were no longer there. That’s my biggest lesson make the deal on the card before you leave the table because if you like it then there is 100% chance someone else does as well.

McK brotherhood!

I was blessed to catch up with my guy Zachary Kyle Swisher here at the National in Cleveland!

Bowling brought us together but cards keep us connected.

Check out Blez cards on WhatNot, as they break and sell mystery backs.

See you soon brother!

Good Evening,

We just wanted to post a reminder that the shop will be closed tomorrow Friday July 26th and Saturday July 27th as we attend the National Sports Card Convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

This will be Ryan’s first time attending the National and Dan’s first time in over 30 years.

Our case is ready, cards are comped, and we will be looking to off load this inventory before we start our buying prowess.

We are extremely excited to come across one in a life time items as well as buy some amazing cards and collectibles to bring back to the shop for our great customers.

The shop will be open Sunday July 28th from 9AM-5PM (Normal Hours) and hope to have some of the inventory already priced to show off.

It’s going to be a long and exciting couple days in Cleveland and we can’t wait.

If you are attending the National the next two days let us know! Also if you were going to the National, who would you be looking to buy?
