So we took the sport compact and went to Boone Iowa for IMCA super nationals the beginning of this week.
There was 84 compacts checked in. I drew a 29 which started me outside front row for heat #10. I finished 3rd in a very tuff heat. ( It's super nationals so all heats are tuff) The top 2 go through tech and I was on deck in case one of them didn't pass. ( They passed) So, I started front row outside for b feature #5 and had the last transfer spot for about half of the race and then fell back to 3rd 2/10 of second out of the last transfer. With 2 to go I ended up in a hell of a battle between 3rd through 6th. When we crossed the finish line I was 6th ( honestly wasn't sure if I was 4th, 5th, or 6th until they announced it).
