There hasn't been a lot of people or leaders I would run through a wall for when asked, but Dr. Jay Dawes surely is one of them. The newly elected President of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Dr Dawes fully had my vote, and I am egar to work under his term.

Thanks for being a normal guy while still pushing the industry forward.

I saw a quote one time that said something along the lines of, "if you ain't training in the summer, you ain't winning state in the fall". Not a problem for these athletes. Coach Maddie got our Freshman First group out here putting in work for the upcoming high school season!

No internship for this young man, we welcome our newest Coach! Caleb Headen hails from Kent, Washington by way of Seattle University. Armed with a BS in Kinesiology, Caleb bring his prior experience with the Redhawks to Sound Sports family.

"I have a huge passion for sports, music, and especially for fitness!  My favorite exercise is either the trap bar deadlift or preacher curl. When I have free time, I love going to Mariners and Sounders games! I am looking forward to getting started and building great relationships with everyone!

Please help me welcome our newest summer intern. Charlie is a rising junior at Edmonds Woodway High School. An advid sports fan and athlete himself, Charlie will be with us over the summer to gsin experience in a career as a physical therapist/sports medicine professional. "I am looking forward to the future and helping out at Sound Sports Performance and Training whenever and where ever I can!"

Vibe Tribe BOBE and the Communications & Brand Excellence Committee are proud to recognize Federick Brooks, founder of Sound Sports Performance and Training LLC, for his leadership, service, and continued impact in business, fitness, and community development.

Federick is a Marine Corps veteran, educator, coach, and entrepreneur who has built his work around helping people become stronger, more confident, and more prepared to perform in every season of life. Through Sound Sports Performance and Training LLC, he serves youth, adults, seniors, and athletes of all levels with a mission rooted in discipline, wellness, education, and accountability.

His journey is marked by both personal commitment and professional achievement, including success through Business Impact NW’s IMPACT Pitch competition, recognition through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and recent honors during SCORE Washington District’s 25-year celebration of exceptional entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Federick represents the spirit of BOBE: resilience, strategic leadership, service, and growth through community. We are proud to have him as part of the Vibe Tribe BOBE team and honored to celebrate the work he continues to do.

At Sound Sports Performance and Training, we welcome interns and create a learning environment for those seeking Healthcare, allied healthcare, and of course, Strength and Conditioning careers.
