It's a historic moment for St. Charles Little League!

For the first time ever, our league will compete in the Louisiana Little League District 2 Baseball Tournament. We are proud to represent St. Charles Parish and can't wait to see our players take the field against some of the area's best teams.

St. Charles Little League is proud to introduce our 10U All-Star Softball Head Coach, Makenna Cortez!

Born and raised in St. Charles Parish, Makenna is a graduate of Hahnville High School, where she was a four-year varsity softball player and earned First Team All-District honors for three consecutive years. She also played a key role in Hahnville’s 2018 State Runner-Up finish.

Makenna continued her softball career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and has since gained valuable coaching experience with D1VISION and the Southern Stars.

With a strong background both on and off the field, she brings knowledge, leadership, and passion to our program, and we’re excited to have her leading our 10U All-Star team this season!

St. Charles Parish Little League is proud to welcome Paul Waguespack as our 10U All-Star Baseball Head Coach.

With over 30 years of coaching experience and more than 300 career wins, Coach Waguespack has made a lasting impact on the baseball community and continues to contribute to the game of softball.

During his 19-year tenure at St. Charles Catholic High School, including 13 years as head coach, his teams reached the State Runner-Up four times, and he was recently inducted into the Louisiana Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

He currently serves as an assistant coach for the Destrehan High School softball team, which is experiencing one of the most successful seasons in program history.

His leadership, experience, and passion for the game make him a perfect fit to mentor and inspire our young athletes, and we’re excited to have him leading our 10U All-Star team this season!
