The excitement is building, the work is being put in, and our fighters are getting ready to step into that cage! 💪
But it takes more than just the fighter to make fight night happen. It takes a village! Coaches, teammates, families, supporters, and everyone behind the scenes putting in the time, love, and dedication to help these athletes succeed.
Different Breed MMA, we’re more than a gym. We’re a TEAM. We show up for each other, push each other, and stand together through every win, every loss, and every challenge.
The countdown is ON! Midland, we’re coming! 🥊

Three of our DBMMA athletes traveled to San Antonio this weekend to compete at NAGA alongside our A Force team, and they came ready to work! 💪🔥
🥋 Rowin put on a show with some awesome submissions!
🥋 Omar earned his win by points and showed off his skill on the mats!
🥋 Jayton also secured a points victory, proving his hard work is paying off!
We are proud of these guys for stepping on the mats, putting their skills to the test, and representing Different Breed MMA! Every competition is an opportunity to learn, grow, and get better. That's what it's all about! 👊
Different Breed. Different Mentality. Same Mission. 🖤❤️

Cameron is a little beast on the mats! 🔥 He’s showing just how powerful the combination of wrestling and jiu-jitsu can be. His skills are coming together, and it’s exciting to watch him continue to grow, learn, and develop as a young athlete.

Congratulations, Cameron, on earning your grey belt! 🩶💪🥋 We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! Different Breed is proud of you! 🖤❤️

Coach Juan may have started his journey with us later in life, but he has become such a huge blessing to our Different Breed MMA family.

He brings knowledge and experience in so many areas and plays a big part in helping build and strengthen this team. He’s not only a great coach and teammate, but also a true friend and a constant source of support for our fighters.

We are beyond grateful to have him in our corner, and honestly, we couldn’t imagine this gym without him!
Coach Juan, your impact goes far beyond the mats. We’re proud of you, thankful for you, and excited to see what’s still ahead in your journey.

Blue belt earned, but your value to this team goes far beyond any belt. 💙🥋

10/23/2026

Congratulations, Debray, on earning your blue belt! 💙
This one has been a long time coming.
Through the ups and downs, being in and out, you’ve continued to show up and put in the work. Progress doesn’t always happen in a straight line, but what matters is that you keep coming back and putting in the effort.
Proud of you for sticking it out and reaching this milestone! Keep building, keep learning, and keep putting in the work. 💪
Congratulations, Debray! Welcome to the next chapter of your jiu-jitsu journey! 🥋🔥

10/21/2026

Special shout out to Stephen Rodriguez on his long over due brown belt promotion!

Our boss, our mentor. We don’t exist without him. He revived our academy by believing in us, but most importantly believing in me, and giving me a chance to lead this team. Been in this game with me 16+ years and remained a great friend but even better human being.
We’re grateful for your leadership and the work doesn’t go unnoticed. Let’s keep going brother, we got so much more to accomplish !!

10/19/2026

This guy right here is amazing! He is the hardest worker no matter what it is ! Rowin is so coachable, always willing to learn, and an absolute joy to watch on the mats. His potential is huge, and we can’t wait to see just how far he takes this journey!

Congratulations, Rowin, on earning your yellow belt! Keep showing up, keep learning, and keep being you. We’re proud of you and excited to watch you continue to grow! 💛🔥
