We changed things up and went racing on a Friday night 😝

Drew had a good night overall at Buffalo. This was his second time at this track. It was only him and his friend Cole in their race class. Drew qualified first but after spinning out he just didn’t have the speed to catch Cole.

Congratulations Cole on your win!

We have a few more races before the season officially ends. Drew will be back at Buffalo on November 7th!

Not only did Drew win the championship last night, but he also shared the track with NASCAR driver Chad Finchum. Drew saw him and immediately came running to us to let us know he was there. Dustan Kelley took him over to say hello. We all know how shy Drew can be when it comes to talking to new people. Dustan, I think, had to do most of the talking. At the end of the night, Chad was awesome and let Drew take a picture with him.

Who knows, maybe one day he will be able to share the track with Chad again in the NASCAR series. 🏁

The points season has quickly come to an end. Tonight’s race determined if Drew was going to win the championship in Jr. Green Plate. It was such a close fight against him and second place. It could have easily been either one getting the championship.

Drew started the day qualifying last. It was not looking good. Drew was feeling the pressure and honestly, we all were a little nervous. After a few pep talks and encouraging words, Drew was ready for the feature.

Feature came and Drew made his way from last place to first. He took the win and…..

Is officially the 2026 Jr. Green Plate Champion! Drew is now a 3x champion. Such a big achievement for a 9 year old with big dreams. We can’t wait to see all the things he is able to accomplish in the future. He is just beginning!

It was such a bitter sweet night, because it was his last race at Godspeed Raceway. This has been our home track for a few years now. Drew has made friends there. We have been able to watch him come out of his shell week after week. We are so sad to see it come to an end, and are so thankful for everyone that we have met there and all of the memories we have made.

Yesterday was a long day at the race track! We arrived around 9am and went through pre-tech. We made it through practice and was ABOUT to go out for qualifying when the rain started. After a few hours we were finally able to go back out for some night racing. Drew qualified on the pole, went out for the feature and led every lap. His buddy Cole gave him some good competition. He was definitely faster than Drew by the time the feature came around. If there were a few more laps in the race, I’m not so sure it would have been Drew in Victory Lane 😅 Drew was EXHAUSTED by the time his feature race came. He forced a smile for a picture and was ready to head to the truck to go to sleep. We finally made it home around 3 am this morning 🥴 so it has been a lazy day for the Drew Scott Racing family.

No racing next weekend. Drew will be heading to Bristol to watch some NASCAR racing. We will be back at it for the final points race at Godspeed that following weekend.
