The Dance Program at LMU is committed to the application of rigorous and excellent physical training

LMU's dance program is a strong, unified learning community that works with deep intention, cooperation, and flexible engagement in performance, scholarship, choreography, and social action. Our dancers engage in the skillful development of their bodies, thoughtful development of their minds, and soulful cultivation of their intuition. Encountering dance at LMU will awaken you to an ever-expanding

sense of the possible – within yourself and your peers, the surrounding community and culture, as well as within the art form itself.

SUMMER UNLOCKED PART 2✨
Summer Unlocked was created through the Equitable Commercial Dance Program to connect dancers with commercial-industry internships in LA + NYC. After one-on-one sessions with Director Geri Brown, students interview and are placed in internships aligned with their career goals. This summer, 18 students secured internships, many earning college credit and receiving grants through LMU’s CPD Summer Internship Funding.

Thank you to all the choreographers and organizations providing internships for our students this summer!
