We conclude our Senior Spotlight with a dancer who has been dancing at CDA since the very beginning of her journey, Miss Sarah Jo Yu! From pre-ballet all the way to Advance, it has been an honor to witness Sarah’s growth over her 15 years training at CDA. We are so proud of her as she begins her next chapter at UC San Diego, where she plans to pursue Human Biology on the pre-med track. Thank you for celebrating the art of dance with us Sarah Jo!

Next up in our Senior Spotlight series is Armando Pacheco! It’s hard to believe his journey with dance began only a few years ago. Nonetheless we couldn’t be more proud of Armando and all of his accomplishments this season. Armando plans on dancing with Sacramento Ballet over the summer and for the year-round program as well! Heidi has enjoyed dancing at CDA for the past few years. She has appreciated the opportunities to grow in her dance technique, friendships, and teaching skills. With only a few days left until our Spring Showcase, we wanted to take a moment to highlight dancers who will take their final bow this Saturday. Show some love to the first dancer in our Senior Spotlight series, Victoria Matz!

Over the past decade we’ve seen Victoria grow from tiny dancer to Sugar Plum Fairy. It has been so awesome to be a part of her journey all these years. Our future alumni is heading to the University of California, Irvine in the fall majoring in Criminology, Law & Society. Victoria is also hoping to continue dancing and performing in college!
