Sometimes you need to remind yourself just how far you’ve come. Especially when you’ve been feeling behind.

That’s what I love about this trend. Especially when life feels hard, it’s so easy to focus on what you haven’t done yet, what hasn’t worked out, or how far you still have to go. Then you look back at your life and realize you’re literally light years away from the person you once thought you’d be.

There are so many things in my life today that younger me wouldn’t have even known to dream about. So consider this your reminder to look back for a second. Look at everything you’ve survived, everything you’ve built, every version of yourself you’ve outgrown, and all the times you chose yourself.

You might realize your life is actually pretty damn chic 🖤
