🩵 MEET OUR CAPTAINS 🩵

Being named a captain at Ascend is about so much more than wearing the armband.

Our captains were selected through votes from both their teammates and coaches.. making this recognition especially meaningful. They were chosen because of the example they set through their character, work ethic, sportsmanship, and leadership.

At Ascend, we believe a captain isn’t simply the loudest voice or the best player on the field. A captain is someone who leads by example, puts the team before herself, encourages the players around her, and continues to do the right thing even when no one is watching.

These girls represent the standard we want to see throughout Ascend Girls Soccer Academy.

The armband is an honor, but it’s also a responsibility - to lead, to serve, and to represent something bigger than yourself.

Congratulations to our captains! We are proud of the young women you are becoming and excited to watch you lead with purpose.

We’re not sure we’ve ever heard so many giggles and squeals at practice! 😂🩵 Sometimes the best team bonding happens when the girls just get to be kids, laugh together, and make memories with their teammates.

What a way to start our very first tournament as Ascend Girls Soccer Academy.

All FOUR Ascend teams went 2/2 on Day One of the Bob Wiseman Memorial Tournament — giving our club an 8-0 record heading into Day Two! 🔥

U14 — 2/2 ✅
U13 — 2/2 ✅
U12 — 2/2 ✅
U11 — 2/2 ✅

Different teams. Different fields. One club. One standard.

Way to represent Ascend and begin writing the first pages of our story together.

There’s still work to do tomorrow.

But tonight, we’re pretty dang proud of this start. 🩵🪽

Day Two… LET’S RISE. 💪🏽

There’s something special about the first one. 🩵

For many of these girls, the teammates beside them are familiar. They’ve competed together, grown together, and shared a lot of soccer already. But this weekend is different.

This is our first tournament as ASCEND. 🪽👑

A new badge. A few new faces. A new chapter. And the opportunity to continue building something special together.

This weekend is about finding our rhythm, building chemistry, learning how to play for one another, and beginning to discover who we are as Ascend Girls Soccer Academy.

There will be great moments, hard moments, lessons, adjustments, and plenty of opportunities to grow. Every one of them becomes part of our story.

So here we go.

Play for the girl beside you. Represent the badge with pride. And leave the field knowing you gave something to the team.

What a season! 🩵⚽️

Our two indoor teams both managed to secure their spots in the FINALS… AGAINST EACH OTHER! 🤯

In an ideal world, both of our teams could have walked away as champions. But this time, our Cosmic Chaos group came out on top and will be taking home the trophy! 🏆✨

We are incredibly proud of BOTH of these teams. They are filled with hardworking, talented young ladies who competed, battled, and represented Ascend so well all season long.

They might’ve been divided tonight, wearing different jerseys and competing on opposite sides of the field… but when that final whistle blew, they were one team again. 🩵

That’s what makes this so special.

They train together. They push each other. They make each other better. And tonight, they got to compete against the very teammates who help them grow every week.

Congratulations to Cosmic Chaos on the championship, and congratulations to Barca Baddies on an incredible season and a well-earned spot in the finals! 👏🏼

Tonight there could only be one champion… but we couldn’t be prouder knowing BOTH finalists were ours. 🥹🩵
