Here is an excerpt from my upcoming 365 day activity journal coming down the pipe. Below are the basic elements that will be tracked in your daily log. I will be selling these at cost. Whatever it cost me to make them is what they will be available for. If I could afford it I’d give them away. But I know it’s going cost me some money to make. Let me know if you think youll want one of these. Lion 365
Lion 365-
1.Wake up at a set time each day. Give yourself at minimum one hr before you are needed by your family, work, ect.
This will give you time to think about your day, to plan, to be proactive in your approach to mastering your time. Read, study, pray, or just meditate. Have some coffee or water. And focus on how you will be the best version of yourself today. If you are an early morning workout person that is great. This too is a form of meditation and self care.
2. Start your nutrition and hydration regiment early. It’s way easier to stay on track with these things than it is to play catch up later in the day when things get really busy. You will be able to reference the quick guide on nutrition and hydration here in this book. On Nutrition…..eat the foods listed in the nutrition guideline when you’re hungry. Let’s not make it complicated
3. Start your day organized. Using the checklist or ex*****on strategy you’ve laid out for yourself the previous night. Know exactly what you’re going to do today and attack that plan. Things wil come up, be flexible, overcome and adapt, but always back to the list at any point you find yourself wondering aimlessly through the day. Organized means with food too. Prep and have food and water ready and available all day every day.
4. Put down the phone. While our phones can be amazing tools of productivity they can also be a massive distraction. Use them as tools to get work done, not as toys to keep our minds weak and unproductive
5. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate,
You’ll never truly understand the cognitive and physical benefits that stem from being properly hydrated until you get disciplined and learn how that feels through proper hydration. You will also finally see all of the detriments that being improperly hydrated were causing you. Like fatigue, bring fog, joint pain and inflammation, constipation,
Weak flat muscle. The list goes on. Recommended minimum of about 1/2 gallon of water a day and more if your exercise vigorously. Also recommended to include a salt supplement like LMNT in your water. Electrolytes are a much needed supplement in your body.
6. Exercise- get your exercise in. At some point during your day whenever you can. Lift, run, swim, martial arts, biking, yoga, sports. The list goes on and on. Get it in and stay physically fit. The ex*****on is easy it’s usually the mental discipline that is the issue. Say you’re going to do it and do it.
7. Earn your keep. At work make sure you’re doing your job to the best of your ability. Maximum effort everyday.
8. Family time- be present, enjoy this time and put away all the distractions. Worm is over, you’ve gotten your exercise and done the things you need to do. It’s time to be present to your family.
9. Reading, studying, improving your cognitive function, art, music, whatever it is. Find a few minutes to express some creativity. It is healthy and necessary for your growth
10. Sleep- get 7-10 hours of sleep if you can. If you completed your tasks for the day written above you will and should be tired. Avoid any type of substances that you think will help you sleep such as alcohol, sleeping pills, melatonin, thc or CBD. Most of things really don’t work like advertised and they actually are a detriment to your sleep.
There it is. The pillars, the fundamental elements of a good solid and sustainable day. Not so difficult right.
