✨ SATALANA STUDENT OF THE WEEK: KATHY WALSH! ✨

There are SO many incredible stars in our Satalana Zumba family, and this week we’re shining the spotlight on Kathy! 💖🌟

And WOW… this lady has some serious speed! 🏃‍♀️💨 Kathy still holds her high school 800-meter record of 2:14! 😲🔥 No wonder she brings that energy to Zumba!

But there’s so much more to Kathy than her athletic accomplishments. ❤️ Outside of Zumba, she enjoys her job, playing handball at church, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her adult daughters and grandchildren. 👩‍👧‍👧👵💕

We’re so happy Kathy is part of our Satalana family! She brings her own special energy, personality, and joy to the room every time she walks through the door. ✨

✨💖 STUDENT OF THE WEEK! 💖✨

This week we are celebrating our beautiful Chrissy Morris Smolar! 🌟💕

Chrissy is one of those people who just shines when she’s doing what she loves! ✨ She became a Zumba instructor a couple of years ago, and we absolutely love seeing her share her music and her energy with us in class, whether she’s dancing on the side, jumping in with us, or bringing one of her own songs to the dance floor! 🎶💃

🌎 Fun fact about Chrissy: She grew up in Honduras with missionary parents! 🇭🇳❤️ How cool is that?!

We are so lucky to have Chrissy as part of our Satalana family. She brings so much fun, talent, and personality to our classes, and we love getting to dance, laugh, and share our love of music together! 🥰

Tonight’s class was everything we love about Satalana.

Lauren brought her daughter for the first time, and our friend Debby—an author who lives in Portland—was back in town and came to dance with us. She makes a point to visit our Zumba crew whenever she’s home, and we absolutely love having her back. ❤️

This is why it’s about more than the workout.

It’s the people. The music. The laughing. The new faces. The familiar faces. The people who come every week and the ones who can only make it once or twice a year.

Starships were meant to fly.
But we were meant to dance 🚀💃💃🏻 Thanks for joining us tonight!
