RISE ABOVE! We are aimed at working with a number of dedicated wrestlers who are interested in achieving at the highest levels while having fun in the process.

From High School, Middle School and Grade School Wrestlers wanting to take advantage of all year around wrestling opportunities to sharpen and improve their skills. We are working to further expand and build upon each individual’s wrestling ability, and have various amounts of opportunities to compete.

Proud to announce Nick Sanchez '11 as an inductee into the Heidelberg Athletics Hall of Fame.

Nick is one of only three 3x OAC Champions. A Three-time NCAA National Qualifier, advancing to the national championships in 2006, 2007 and 2008 ... Compiled 107 career victories, ranking third in program history at the conclusion of his career ... Helped establish Heidelberg wrestling among the top programs in the Ohio Athletic Conference during one of the most successful eras in program history.

Registration is officially OPEN for the 2026 IndianaMat Hoosier Preseason Open!

This is one of the toughest preseason tournaments in the Midwest and a great opportunity to see where you stand before the season starts.

Lester finishes 6-2 in Greco. Dropping his blood round match.

Staugler went 0-2 , battling injuries the month going into Fargo was not in his bingo cards.

Freestyle Update

Carter Lester’s tournament run comes to an end in the blood round, falling to the No. 1 seed. He finishes the tournament with a strong 6-2 record.

Mason Shank finishes 1-2.

Caleb Pulfer finishes 1-2.

Next up: Greco-Roman! Carter Lester and Payten Staugler will be back on the on Tuesday!
