Congratulations to our 2026 Men's Member - Guest Overall Champions! Aaron Loftin and Jacob Marsee!

Thank you for all of the players joining us for the 58th Annual event and making it a sold out event at 36 teams.

A thank you to our Agronomy Team, Food and Beverage Team, and our Golf Staff for all of their hardwork this week.

It has that great old-school feel where strategy and shot-making matter way more than just blasting raw distance off the tee. It's One of the Biggest Weeks of the Year at Sapona Golf Club!

The excitement is building as we kick off an action-packed week at Sapona Golf Club!

We begin on Monday by welcoming the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) for tournament competition while our Golf Professionals host the next session of our Junior Golf Camp, helping develop the next generation of golfers.

The spotlight then turns to our premier event of the season—the 58th Annual Men's Member-Guest Tournament, beginning Friday, July 31. This signature tradition brings together outstanding golf, great camaraderie, and an unforgettable weekend for our members and guests.

Thursday, July 30

Practice rounds available 12pm - 2pm. Please call the Golf Shop to reserve your preferred tee time.
Team Buy-In & Skills Challenge in the evening, where the competition officially begins and teams have the opportunity to test their skills before the tournament.

Friday, July 31

Tournament play gets underway with an exciting day of match play.
Join us Friday evening for our Member-Guest Dinner, followed by live music from Barefoot Modern, making for a fantastic night of great food, entertainment, and fellowship.

We look forward to welcoming all of our participants and guests for what promises to be one of the most memorable Member-Guest tournaments yet. Good luck to all of our competitors, and thank you for making Sapona Golf Club such a special place to celebrate the game of golf!

Moments turn into memories, snapshots etched into our brains. Those memories are what prompted Kara and Alex to include Sapona in their love story.

Kara explained, "Sapona has always held a special place in Alex’s heart. He grew up in the Sapona community, spending countless days exploring the neighborhood and the golf course. Some of his favorite childhood memories were made there, especially with his dad, who was an avid golfer at Sapona. To make our engagement photos even more meaningful, we brought along his dad’s putter and incorporated it into the shoot as a way to honor those memories and the impact his dad had on his love for the game. It made the session incredibly personal and something we’ll always treasure."
