Rain was on the horizon, the hay was ready, and the baler decided it had other plans.

At HomeFarm, when equipment breaks and the weather won’t wait, we do what farmers have done for generations: all hands on deck.

Today, our team grabbed pitchforks, loaded loose hay by hand, and filled the wagons the old-fashioned way. It was hard work, hot work, and a reminder that farming is equal parts grit, teamwork, and determination.

We’re grateful for every helping hand that keeps our animals fed and our farm moving forward.

A busy day of celebrations at HomeFarm yesterday: Elliot celebrated his 3rd birthday with family and friends; Marjorie celebrated her 70th with a trail ride and another lovely couple, their anniversary. HomeFarm is grateful to have shared in their joy.
