A winning weekend for Fort Wayne Rugby! 🏉

D3 traveled to White River Rugby and rallied their way to a 36–32 win, while D2 took on South Pitt Rugby at home and came away with a 97–3 win.

Yesterday, friends and family gathered to celebrate what would have been Trey “Ray” Yarman’s 30th birthday by spending the day the way he would have wanted—surrounded by the people he loved, playing rugby, kayaking, sharing a meal, and making memories together.

Trey loved rugby, but even more than the game, he loved the family and community that came with it. That spirit was felt in every laugh, every pass of the ball, every paddle on the water, and every conversation around the dinner table.

Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate Trey’s life and the impact he continues to have on so many. He is deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever a part of the Fort Wayne Rugby family. 🖤💙🏉

Reminiscing about our Three Rivers Rugby Tournament on this rainy Monday. ☔️🏉

A huge thank you to everyone who made this our most successful tournament yet—from our volunteers, players, referees and supporters to our incredible sponsors: After Dark FW, Weigand Construction and the Fort Wayne Black & Blue Society.

The day was everything we love about rugby: great competition, new friendships, and a community that continues to grow.

Congratulations to Fort Wayne Womens Rugby on winning our inaugural women’s bracket, and to Marian Alumni for taking home the men’s championship! 👏

Thank you to every team that traveled to Fort Wayne and helped make the day one to remember.

Now… it’s time to turn our focus to the fall season. We can’t wait to see you back on the pitch!

Three Rivers Tournament Schedule + Important Info 🎉

Pool play kicks off at 10 AM!

Tomorrow’s schedule:
• 10 AM – Pool Play Begins
• 1 PM – Championship brackets announced
• 2 PM – Consolation matches
• 2:10 PM – 12th Place Boat Race 🍻
• 2:30 PM – Championship Bracket matches
• 3:10 PM – Women’s Championship + 7th/9th Place
• 4 PM – Men’s Championship + 3rd/5th Place

Air Quality Update: We know today’s AQI has been elevated, but current forecasts show conditions improving by tomorrow. At this time, the tournament is still on as scheduled. We’ll continue monitoring conditions throughout the event, and player safety remains our top priority.

Please come prepared:
💧 Stay hydrated and bring electrolytes.
🌡️ Expect hot, humid weather (with a chance of rain).
🫁 If you have asthma or respiratory concerns, keep your medications with you and monitor how you’re feeling.
We’ll have water, ice, and athletic trainers available on site.
