June is PTSD awareness month. PTSD can look like many things, and knowing them can be helpful:
-startling easily
-always feeling "on guard"
-having unwanted thoughts, flashbacks, or nightmares
-having to avoid people, places, or conversations that feel triggering

Dear YMCA of the Suncoast Members,

Today marks an exciting milestone as we officially begin our Building For Good expansion and renovation project at the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA.

Over the coming months, you'll begin to see exciting changes throughout our facility as we invest in new spaces and amenities designed to better serve our growing community. Planned improvements include:

- Four new shaded pickleball courts
- Two group exercise/multipurpose studios
- An outdoor playground adjacent to Kids Zone
- A renovated wellness center designed to enhance the member experience
- Additional improvements designed to strengthen programs, services and community impact

Breaking Ground for the Future of Our Community!

Today, we celebrated an exciting milestone as community leaders, donors, volunteers, staff and supporters gathered for the Citrus Memorial Health Foundation YMCA Groundbreaking Ceremony.

This expansion marks an exciting step forward as we continue working to create more opportunities for individuals and families throughout our community.

The project will include:

• Four new pickleball courts
• Two group exercise studios
• An outdoor playground adjacent to Kids Zone
• Additional improvements designed to strengthen programs, services and community impact

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us today and to the many supporters whose generosity and commitment continue to make projects like this possible.

Together, we are creating more opportunities for healthy living, youth development and community connection throughout our community.

The YMCA is a place where lives are changed, communities come together and opportunities are created for people of all ages.
