🔵 R Y D E R • C U P 🔴

*Registration is limited to the first 60 players pre-paid for each team, those that competed in the invitationals have priority with signing up*

The James Cup is our version of the Ryder Cup between our sister courses. Maxing out with 60 golfers representing each golf course, they play 18 holes for a total of 3 points per match. Each match consists of 2 golfers representing the respective course. Every 6 holes is a different format, each 6 holes is worth 1 point. Golfers play match play over the course of the 6 holes to determine the winner of each format. Each 6 holes is either a scramble, best ball or alternate shot format. The golf course with the most accumulated points will win the prize fund!

Every golfer receives limited edition merchandise for playing in the event and has the opportunity to purchase giveaways from previous years. As always, we will be serving donuts from the Donut Shop in Lebanon, Ohio for breakfast and lunch will be served as the event concludes.

Sunday, September 20th @ 8am @ Majestic Springs Golf Club

2 person, Ryder Cup format (6 hole scramble, best ball & alternate shot)

Members: $100
Non-Members: $110

We’re VICTORIOUS once again 😎

Team Harmon won the second James Cup Invitational 6-2 on Saturday, July 18.

With thunder storms rolling through just before teeing off, the conditions were nothing short of wet. As the round continued, the course dried up and the competition was great. Almost every group won or lost by 1 or 2 holes.

By the end of the day, Team Harmon won, securing the second point in the James Cup in September. Majestic Springs will be hosting the James Cup on 9/20 and finishing up with getting our prizes in now. The roster is open to those that played in the invitationals for registration and will be open to the public in August.

The James Cup is one of the most meaningful and competitive events of our season, created to honor the legacy of Dick James, a respected PGA professional who proudly represented and managed Harmon Golf Club. Modeled after the Ryder Cup, this annual competition brings together golfers from both sister courses for a day of team-based match play, camaraderie, and tradition. It’s more than just a tournament—it’s a celebration of pride, history, and representing your home course. Stay tuned for more details on this year’s James Cup, which will be hosted on September 20, 2026–we will post details in July for the James Cup itself

The James Cup Invitationals serve as an extension of that tradition, giving players the opportunity to compete—and make an impact—before the main event in September. Each course will host a 2-person, 18-hole scramble featuring match play, with teams made up of two players representing Harmon and two representing Majestic Springs. At the end of the day, the course with the most matches won earns a point toward the James Cup. With the Cup historically coming down to the wire—including multiple ties in recent years—earning an early point could prove to be the difference. This is your chance to represent your course, compete against friends, and help set the tone for the season.

• HGC James Cup Invitational: Saturday, July 18 @ 10am (traditional tee times)
• James Cup: Sunday, September 20 @ 8am (shotgun start)

FORMAT:

By far the best league in the area 😎⛳️🏌️‍♂️

SUMMARY:
The Sip It n Rip It League is a fun and social golf league that we host on Fridays throughout the season. It is a zero-commitment league, meaning you just pay for the weeks you want to play and it is also not a gender-specific league, so men and women are both welcome to play! Every week is a scramble and you can sign up as a single or as a two-some. From there, John will draw cards at 5:25pm to establish teams to promote an equal chance of winning. At 5:30pm, we send out the golfers in a shotgun start and the prize fund is awarded to the proximity winners, along with the winning team.

Every Friday from May 1-August 28 at 5:30pm

COST:
Full Members: $15
Social Members: $20
