Layton City will begin roadway improvements on Gentile Street between 2400 E and 2600 E starting Friday, August 14

⛳ Golf Course Access:
Valley View Golf Course will remain accessible via Oak Hills Drive to Gentile Street throughout construction.
We appreciate your patience as we complete these important improvements to enhance safety and mobility in the area.

Thanks for playing in the 2026 Mountainland Valley View Open! Wow it was hot!!! But the course was in great shape and we appreciate all the players who came out and played this week!

Congratulations to David Liechty, our 2026 Mountainland Valley View Open Champion! David was low amateur last year and followed that up with a stellar performance over the last two days. 15 under is no joke!

Congratulations to our Senior Professional Champion Steve Schneiter! Steve is a former winner of the Mountainand VV Open and took home the senior pro title today at 8 under!

And congratulations to Haley Sturgeon, the Women's Professional Champion again! Great playing Haley!

David Liechty earned a dominant victory today at the 2026 Mountainland Valley View Open. Liechty fired rounds of 64-65 to finish at (-15) 129, cruising to a 7-shot victory. With the win, last year’s low amateur became the first player in tournament history to capture both the Valley View Amateur and Mountainland Valley View Open in the same season. Low Professional honors went to T1s Tommy Sharp & Zach Johnson.

Amateur David Liechty takes a two-shot lead into today’s final round of the Mountainland Valley View Open after firing an opening-round 64.
