420 Racing Team We race dirt track primarily at Hartford speedway on Friday nights and Butler speedway Saturday night

Saturday was one of those days that make you wish you stayed in bed lol. Started the day off working on the truck before finishing up getting the car ready. Made it to the track and the autograph session went great, always a good time meeting all the kids and fans.
Qualified 23rd out of 34 putting me starting heat 2 p8 but the car had other plans. Just as we're heading out on the track the battery died and I missed my heat. Got the back up battery in for the B main and started 17th. Had a great start and got up to 7th pretty quickly and was gaining on 6th when my left front blew with 2 to go. Was able to hold on to it and got passed just before the checker finishing 8th.

Friday race recap at Hartford Motor Speedway and Midwest dirt compact series. I had my son's graduation so I made it back just in time for my heat race. Started heat 2 in p4, going into turns 1 and 2 from the green I was passing 2 cars on the outside when they got together they came into me taking out the right rear tire and bending a tie rod. Wasn't able to get the tie rod off so just straightened it out some.
I started the feature 21st out of 26 and these drivers are some of the best in the state. I was able to keep it on the track for all 25 laps and worked up to 9th to finish with another top 10 finish.
Come on out to Butler Motor Speedway this coming Saturday to cheer on that 420.
Would also like to add that in trying to figure out a shirt design and working on getting new graphics for the car. Here's one of my ideas

Night 2 of the double header weekend complete. Race recap for Butler Motor Speedway.
Track was soft in qualifying but managed to qualify 18th out of 27 putting me starting heat 3 in p6, ran a good race but finished in 6th
They ended up running all of us in the A main, wasn't a wreck fest as I thought it would be. I started the the feature 18th and was able to work myself up to 12th. Was some great door to door racing against a few friends along the way.

Pretty good night at Hartford Motor Speedway. Track was coming apart in 3 and 4 that eventually lead to a very low or very high line. Wish I would have figured that out earlier. So here's the short race recap
Started heat 3 in p3 and with the rough track conditions the car wasn't happy, even got air born a few times and ended up finishing 6th
That put me near the tail in the feature starting in 18th out of 21. The track claimed a few cars but mine was on a rail and I found the top line was where to be. Was able to put in the work and took a 4th place finish, my best finish in an A main in my short career.

First off happy mothers day to all the moms out there. Had a decent first night of the season at Butler Motor Speedway. Qualified 19th out of 36
Started 5th in the heat finished 6th putting me into the B main
Started the B in 7th moved up to 4th on the final lap and transferred to the A main
Started the A dead last at 20th and was able to work up to 14th.

Last night at Hartford Motor Speedway I started the heat 4th, finished 5th. Put me starting the feature in 13th. 2 laps into the feature and a brake line got pinched/cut which made the brakes non existent after a couple more laps. Was still able to fisher 15th out of 25 cars. Got the car ready to go for tonight at Butler Motor Speedway

Second race of the season at butler update. Qualified 18th for the second week, which put me starting my heat in 6th with top 5 going straight to the A main. Moved up to 3rd but had a slow restart and dropped one spot to finish 4th. Started the A in 12th and had moved up to 5th within 5 laps. I did get hit early, lap 2 I believe, which ended up bending my tie rod. After a few playoffs it gave out and the car decided to go right in turns 1 and 2 sending me over the top towards the trees. Ended up having to be wreckered back into the trailer. But still managed a 13th place finish only completing 5 of the 15 laps. So we are now sitting 7th in points

What a season opener at Butler Motor Speedway. We had 46 cars in our class, one of the biggest turnouts in the class. We ended up qualifying 18th putting us 5th starting our heat. Heat went well, finished 5th with top 4 transferring directly to the A main. But those 4 guys should have been ahead of me, not for long once the new car is done though. Put me in a great position for the B main as we started on the pole. Only top 2 transferred to the A from the 2 Bs that would round out the top 20. Was able to get to the top side right away and led all 12 laps to take home my first checkered flag🏁 A main, didn't know if we would get it in with the storm rolling in, we started 17th with a very competitive field. Was able to move up a few spots and finish the night with an 11th place finish in the A main. Great night with great friends and family. Huge shootout to TRUE LEAF CANNABIS SHOP, The Village Groomer - Lawrence, CLARKS AUTO PARTS, REDLINE CUSTOM
