Generative Writing Workshop with Julene Waffle
Saturday, August 31, 1-3 pm
@ The Gatehouse

Do you have stories you want to tell? Do you have poetry in your bones? Do you wish you knew a bit more about writing or do you just need a refresh on how to approach your current writing practice?

Join us at The Gatehouse for a short craft talk about the power of observation and several generative writing exercises. Each participant will walk away with exemplar texts, new ways to generate ideas for writing, a piece of their own writing to work with, and confidence to write more.

This workshop welcomes beginning and/or advanced writers. Julene Waffle is an author and teacher of over 27 years.

Cost $25. Purchase tickets at the door. or Check out The Gatehouse to purchase tickets ahead of time. Let me know your are going to attend so I have enough supplies for everyone :)

We are back and have several events planned for after the holidays, we will be making this garland on 12/17 at 3pm. If you are interested, please post below and indicate how many people will be attending with you. $25 each, includes a drink.

Fun on the Ridge is back again:
Try making a variation of all three of these crafts. (at least one paper snow flake, at least one scented pine trees, at least one gnome (further descriptions on each photo).
All supplies provided. Printed directions provided for you to take home for each project. $25 per person. All ages welcome. If adult and young child are attending (12 and under): adult pays full price, children are $15 each.
One drink provided (and if I get to it, maybe I will have some cookies too :) ).

I wrote on the event, but if you were planning on attending the paint event this week at The Little Red School Community Center, we had to reschedule. I am still looking for a place to host. If I don't have a place before the end of the day today, I will need to postpone the event. Sorry. Thanks for the understanding.
