Had small outing yesterday at Nellis AFB Sunrise Vista with 12 golfers. Littlebreeze...but it helped keep the heat down around 105. This was our last outing Las Vegas area VGA outing for this season. VGA Nevada is hosting one other event today in the Reno area at Dayton Valley GC for the very last one of our season. Good luck to all those golfers and thanks to everyone that supported VGA Nevada this year. We are all looking forward to another outstanding VGA year in this upcoming season.

Another hot one here in Las Vegas yesterday. We had 20 golfers play the Spanish Trail Country Club Canyon to Lakes course in over 110 degree weather. The winners were all the golfers for finishing, but flight winners were:

VGA Utah
We have been fielding alot of questions about our upcoming Annual Mesquite event. This year we have expanded it to an optional 5 days:
Thursday 10 Dec Coyote Springs (optional)
Friday 11 Dec Falcon Ridge
Saturday 12 Dec Conestoga
Sunday 13 Dec Wolf Creek
Monday 14 Dec Copper Rock (optional)
As stated the Thursday and Monday rounds are optional. Fri-Sun are mandatory that you play all 3 days. The event price for those 3 days is $500 and there is not an option to pick and choose. If you sign up for one you need to sign up for all 3. Yes that means you will have to pay the VGA registration fee for each event as well as the $500 fee for tee times. You will have to login to the paylink provided to pay the tee times fee. While we will run a 3 day net scoring leaderboard for prizes, each event will be scored individually so points will be awarded for each event. If you elect to play either Coyote Springs or Copper Rock or both there will be additional greens fees collected.
This event will be posted for registration on 1 September at 12pm PST and is limited to 72 players no exceptions. The courses have provided a pay link to pay for tee times which will be included in the event dashboard. The dashboard will also include key deadlines for payments to be completed.

Hey VGA Nevada. We are working on getting the 2027 schedule done at least the first quarter Sept thru Nov done within the next week or so. There has been a delay with Golf Genius to get 2027 events posted. Appreciate everyone's patience. Please note that many Vegas area golf courses are scheduled for overseed over the next 8 weeks. Keep in mind that we may experience cart path only and or less than favorable conditions as courses overseed to winter grass. We are planning another agressive 80+ event year in 2027.

Our 4th consecutive day of golf here in Las Vegas and second round at Angel Park Golf Course. This round we played the Palm course. Great time shared by all.

We were back at it today for day 3 of our 4 days of golf here in Las Vegas at Angel Park Golf Club on the Mountain course. Got off early this morning (0610 was first time) and weather was pretty nice. But by 0900....here came the heat and temps quickly rose back over 100 and climbing.

Had a very hot day (110 F) of golf yesterday at Las Vegas National Golf Club. Had 15 players brave the heat to get in a round of golf where Tiger Woods won his first PGA event and some of the who's who in the 50's and 60's in Vegas use to play and live around.
