Makenna Barnes has been one of Marymount’s primary offensive weapons. In 2024 she recorded 278 kills, averaging 3.2 kills/set, with a .248 hitting percentage and 46 blocks.

Her recruiting profile has risen substantially. Prep Dig previously ranked her No. 13 in California in its state rankings and described her as an especially powerful attacker who can score from different locations on the court!
