Scammers are using legitimate companies to create fake job listings, conduct convincing we**am interviews, and steal applicants’ personal information.

A job offer should never require you to hand over sensitive financial information before you’ve verified who you’re dealing with.

$24 MILLION USPS FRAUD SCHEME

Three postal workers have been charged in an alleged scheme to steal checks directly from the mail and sell them to buyers across the country.

One allegedly stolen check was worth more than $1.5 MILLION.

The checks were reportedly sold through Telegram and shipped to buyers using FedEx.

Millions stolen. An alleged network of buyers. And postal workers accused of being part of it.

MAMDANI just handed scammers a crystal ball. The hardest part about deed fruad is finding the perfect targets. He just handed them all over in one big file for free and open to the public. Deed Fraud is incredibly easy to commit and can effect anyone. Mamdani, just made the perfect list of people for scammers to target and nobody is batting an eye about it. Do yourself a favor, watch you home. It's easier than stealing a car.

Freezing rent can help an individual in the short term, but will absolutely cripple them in the long term. These restrictions on what landlords can do forces them to become slum lords simply from an ROI perspective with no money left over to put into upgrading or even maintaining a property correctly. Things need to scale as everything around it does. Unless you want them all selling off to hedge funds who can afford to knock the entire building down, build something massive, and charge prices you couldn't even begin to afford. Then just profit off the tax savings of the buildings depreciation and "lost revenue".

Fraud is fraud. What people don't realize is that this isn't harmless. This is theft, credit fraud, bank fraud, insurance fraud(insurance companies back who they're stealing from), and something you'll probably get away with once or twice... until you don't.
