Delicious lemonade made with real sugar and sugar free strawberry syrup. Grace is a big fan. Hearts of Hope, LLC hosted the Heros, Wheels and Smiles event today at Young Park. They had all the best food trucks. Grace enjoyed visiting her new friends at Squeeze n Fizz.

This was our last workout with the incredible Mrs. Wick . It takes something extra to work with people who need extra. Nina and Grace found the extra in each other and they had an absolute blast learning together along the way. When you have a child with special needs you start to see a pattern. As your child grows, people that become your chosen family often have to move on to their next chapter. On to the next person who needs them. We've learned to trust the process. God always sends the next right person. The person that has as much to learn from us as we do from them. Godspeed Nina! Thank you for everything. We'll catch you on the flip side.

When you're blessed because someone believes in you. Amore Wick had the courage to meet Grace head on. She trained Grace, pushed her, encouraged her, believed in her and taught Grace how to dig deep when she was having trouble believing in herself. Always inspiring to watch these two incredible ladies working together.

EBRWG is so excited to welcome Glenn and Hayes to our growing family. ¡Bienvenidos hermanos¡ We were also thrilled that Carlos came back to join us for our 5th Annual EBRWG Adaptive Cycle Parade.

Glenn could not wait to hop on his new Rifton and start riding. Glenn was born to ride. He is confident on his cycle, an absolute natural. Glenn, we gotta work on getting bikes for your mom, dad and sister now so you can all ride together.

Hayes is just the sweetest guy. Incredibly determined, joyful, and so well spoken. We could not contain our smiles or tears when Hayes took his first ride on his new Rifton. That's a pretty cool color Hayes. We need to find you a matching helmet. Maybe one with a flaming mohawk.

It is wonderful when our friends come back to see us. Carlos got his Amtryke back in February 2023. It is incredible to see how Carlos has grown. It was a joy to watch him ride with his brother during the parade and to see how his group riding skills have advanced was phenomenal.

EBRWG would like to thank our partners at the NM Governor's Commission on Disability, Direct Therapy Services and the NM Outdoor Recreation Division for helping us remove barriers so that kids can ride.

Hayes would like to thank his beloved family for supporting him and his love of cycling. EBRWG has a long waiting list so it was going to be a while before Hayes was next in line. EBRWG, along with Hayes' physical therapist, Andi Bundy, were honored to provide support and guidance to Hayes' family so that they could purchase the right cycle and adaptive parts that Hayes needs to ride safely.

Thrilled to have you all on board and can't wait until our next cycling adventure. Ride On!

It is always an honor and blessing to be part of a new friend's first ride. From fitting on a helmet to anxious parents getting them all buckled in, to see the joy on their faces as they begin pedaling and the profound impact that it has on their family members as they watch their beautiful child do something that once seemed impossible. An adaptive cycle is more than a bike for these families. So much more.
