🚨Trainer Tuesday, Founder Edition🚨
Introducing Brandon Ruckman, Frozen Ropes 307 owner and founder.
After nearly 20 years coaching Legion Baseball, one question kept sticking with me:
How do we help every player—not just the team?
Team practices are essential, but there’s one challenge every coach faces…time.
With 15-20 players on the field, it’s impossible to give every athlete the individual attention they deserve. Every player learns differently. Some need encouragement. Some need accountability. Some need extra reps. Others need help rebuilding confidence after a tough game.
That’s why I started Frozen Ropes 307.
This facility isn’t about replacing team practices—it’s about filling the gaps.
It’s where players get hundreds of quality swings instead of dozens.
It’s where we work on confidence, baseball IQ, pitch recognition, balance, explosiveness, and the mental side of the game.
It’s where mistakes become opportunities to learn, and players build the confidence to take what they practice into games.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to help more than 20 athletes continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level, and I’ve also experienced the recruiting process firsthand as a parent of both a collegiate baseball player and collegiate softball player. Every athlete’s path is different, and helping them find that path is one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your athletes over the years. Watching players grow—not just as athletes, but as confident young men and women—will always be the best part of what I do.
I’d love to hear from our baseball and softball families…
What’s the biggest challenge your athlete is facing right now?
Confidence? Hitting? Pitching? Fear of failure? Recruiting? The mental game?
Drop it in the comments. You never know—your question might help another family who’s going through the same thing.
“My goal has never been to create perfect swings. It’s to help athletes become confident, resilient competitors who love the game long after the final out.”
