Tomorrow is everyone's favorite annual UW fundraising event, Giving Day! If you didn't know already, Giving Day is a one-day fundraising event held by the UW Foundation every year that allows anyone to donate to programs and clubs across campus - like UWYO Esports!
Giving Day donations are vital in allowing us to plan more amazing events like Border War in the future, as well as our community-focused events like the upcoming Halloween Roundup LAN and our weekly Smash tournaments.
Being a part of UW Club Sports also makes us eligible for donation matching; These matching incentives include:
- Club Sports Match (up to $100/donor or $1,000/total)
- Giving Day Midnight Match (up to $1,000/donor or $12,000/total)
- UW Foundation Board Giving Day Match (up to $1,000/donor or $60,000/total)
And remember: the more that we're able to raise through this event, the more we're able to put towards our competitive teams and casual events! As little as $1 is greatly appreciated, and your support helps us show UW just how fantastic our community is!
