⛳ The team at Five Lakes Financial recently held their annual golf outing at the Lapeer Country Club, and we are excited to share that over $10,000 was raised to support the McLaren Lapeer Region Foundation Chemo Care Fund!

🩵 In addition, golfers came together to donate hundreds of essential items, including lip balm, hand sanitizer, puzzle books, socks, candies, lotion, earphones, and more. These items will help fill Chemo Care Bags which are given to new cancer patients at the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Lapeer Region.

The Chemo Care Fund, founded in 2024 by Eric and Kristen Cassabon along with their daughters, is a heartfelt initiative that aims to support those undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Each care package is thoughtfully filled with items to provide comfort as patients embark on their cancer journey. Currently, they distribute about 150 care packages each year, at a cost of $20 per bag. 💙
