This September, we remember and honor the Americans who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

🥋 WHEN DANIEL GRACIE SPEAKS, WE LISTEN.

This message from Professor Daniel Gracie is exactly what Coach Chris has been trying to teach our students at Daniel Gracie Lancaster.

Jiu-Jitsu isn’t just about learning more techniques or trying to “win” every round. It’s about showing up, listening, trusting the process, putting in the work, and getting better one day at a time.

Sometimes the lesson Coach Chris keeps repeating might not click right away. Then you hear Professor Daniel say it—and suddenly it makes sense. 😄

There are no shortcuts in Jiu-Jitsu. Your coaches can guide you, teach you, and push you, but YOU have to put in the mat time.

Another incredible training session at Daniel Gracie Lancaster! 🥋🔥

A huge thank you to Professor Ronny Bernstiel, black belt from Daniel Gracie Philadelphia, for making the trip and sharing his outstanding knowledge and techniques with our students.

Professor Ronny brought high-level details, effective concepts, and then put everyone to the test with 5 rounds of unforgettable rolls! Watching our students line up for a chance to roll with him was like watching kids waiting for their favorite ride at an amusement park. 😆

Of course, every roll came with valuable lessons. Professor Ronny showed us where our weaknesses are, challenged us to improve, and reminded us that growth happens when we step outside our comfort zones.

We are incredibly fortunate to be part of the Daniel Gracie family and to receive such amazing support from headquarters and our extended team. Opportunities like these help elevate our academy and our students to the next level.

At Daniel Gracie Lancaster, we believe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone.

Every other Sunday at 10:00 AM, we proudly host Mats for All, a special program designed for children with Down syndrome and autism to experience the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment.

This class is completely FREE for participating children and is part of a long-standing Daniel Gracie tradition of giving back to the community and creating opportunities for every child to build confidence, develop coordination, make friends, and most importantly—have fun!
