Sunday Race Recap:

not how I wanted the weekend to end but things happen. Started on the pole for the heat and dropped back. Got spun out a few laps in but was able to keep racing then a few laps later coming into turn two I didn’t see the car spun out and ran right into it. Got a little shaken up, impact felt harder than it looks. The car wasn’t able to be fixed for the main so I was done for the night. Got checked out after the races ended and just have a concussion and some neck pain but overall okay and resting. Thank you for track crew for such a quick response and checking in constantly through the night to make sure i was okay. Thank you to my dad and family for supporting and making this weekend possible to race. Always a lesson learned being a rookie but just glad to be okay. Hopefully will be back out for the next race June 6th.

Saturday Night Recap:
Started in the back in the heat race, after a few laps had to pull off due to a fuel leak but got the car fixed and ready for the main. For the main I started in the back in 11th place and finished 6th. After a few laps I started to feel more comfortable and faster figuring out the car and the track and am happy with how I placed. Hoping to improve more tonight for night 2 at Barona Speedway! Thank you to my dad for working on my car so i’m able to race and family for being there to support🩷🖤
