For the upcoming Sundays in June, we have some new and returning teachers guiding our 9am Vinyasa practice. Next Sunday, join Brandi for a deep flow experience 😍
Deborah Caldeira (6/21)
Deborah is a Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga teacher, passionate about the transformative and healing power of yoga. She draws inspiration from the cycles of nature, the moon, and yoga philosophy, weaving in themes that are uplifting and inspiring. Originally from Brazil, she now lives in Walnut Creek with her husband. Deborah completed her yoga teacher trainings at The Green Yogi in Berkeley, Indigo Yoga in Walnut Creek, and Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja. Yoga has been a guiding light in Deborah’s life, and she is honored to share this practice with her students.
Amanda Capra (6/28)
Amanda is currently participating in a 100 hour mentorship with Valorie at Yoga Village. You may have seen her in class or taking notes!
Amanda is a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher trained at Spiritually Fit Yoga, with a primary focus in power vinyasa. She loves exploring the physical intelligence of the body, weaving breath seamlessly with movement to create classes that feel both strong and spacious.
Originally drawn to movement through dance, Amanda transitioned from dance classes into yoga at the age of 18, discovering in yoga a deeper connection between breath, presence, strength, and self-awareness. That early shift continues to influence her fluid approach to movement and embodied expression.
Her teaching has been shaped by extensive travel and practice in India and Bali, where she studied a wide range of yoga styles and meditation traditions. These experiences continue to inform her creative sequencing and reverence for yoga’s roots.
Alongside her work as a yoga teacher, Amanda has spent years as an early childhood educator, a background that brings patience, warmth, and deep attentiveness into her classes. A lover of nature, travel, and world cultures, she approaches yoga as a holistic practice rooted in deep respect for the human body and the miracle of being alive.
