The Quarterly TKA Black Belt workout is a little less than 2 weeks away.....the workout is being held at the newly relocated Family Karate Center of Tavares at 1012 East Alfred Street - Tavares, FL 9:30am - 12 noon $20 mat fee for the dojo....

In 1974 Joe Ruiz, Soke met Kuniba, Shogo, Soke. After seeing Ruiz, Soke in action and discovering how many karate and Kobudo Kata he knew.... He (Kuniba) said, "In Japan, you would be hachidan (8th Dan).... that was in 1974l... I was there I witnessed it!....
