That’s that for the 2026 racing season. It seems like it lasted for an entire calendar year but I’m already sad it’s over and I miss everyone.
This was my first full season in the amateur ranks and I somehow managed to win all 3 of the championships that I was in. I was able to race in Pro Thunderbike during the 103rd Loudon Classic and I managed to drop my times down far enough to run at least a couple of expert pace laps per race.
Kelsey helped me put in a lot of work at the gym over the offseason. So much so that I broke my ankle 4 days after round 1. Long story, box jump gone wrong, 🤦♂️. Then she helped me recover and get going again. She also helped sling tires and move bikes and with pep talks and meal prep and literally everything. Thank you so much! ❤️
Josh and Paul have helped more than they realize. From helping with getting the warmers on the tires to race craft to even just watching you guys do well and being inspired to push myself. Thank you garage center 7.
Thank you to all of my friends in the paddock, NEMRR for hosting and putting up with us, the corner workers for taking care of us, photographers for making us look cool, and every single fan and person who makes this possible. 🥹
I need to give a giant shoutout to Matt. The battles were amazing for the entire year. Pretty much each PB I set was because I was either chasing or trying to run away from you. The racing was always clean and it never felt sketchy. Well, it always felt sketchy but that’s because I was pushing myself. Maybe we will be dicing it up for last place in the expert ranks soon? 🤔
