Fox Update: The Moultrie Edge 2 camera caught Todd running around last night. Even with the video taken at night you can tell that his fur is starting to grow back. We are still in touch with Operation Wildlife (OWL) waiting to decide if we should administer a 3rd dose. Keep following for updates.

Whether you're just enjoying the great outdoors or getting setup for the upcoming deer season, please leave the little ones alone. Kansas Department of Wildlife & Parks

**REMINDER** - It's Baby Deer Season again. If you find a fawn alone on the ground, please just leave it there. Fawns will be increasingly dropping across Kansas over the next couple weeks.
- During the first 5-8 days, newborns bed down on the ground alone and stay still, even when a person or animal is near them.
- During the next 8-30 days, it will continue to bed on the ground alone and if startled, will quickly run to a new spot to bed on the ground or hide. They will also often make crying or bleating sounds when calling for their mother.
- Momma Doe is likely nearby grazing, so please DO NOT handle them and then call the Game Warden. If an officer shows up to pick up the deer you picked up, they will most likely just take it right back to the same spot and release it. This is their best chance of survival.
