Note the 10 minute blocks
Games are 8 minutes running clock no timeouts, no stoppage
Teams will all play 4 round robin games and one (minimum) playoff game
Games are to start promptly, if players are missing (including goalies) at the designated start time the game will begin regardless
Penalties will result in a penalty shot to be taken at the end of the game
Games can end in a tie
Puck will be dropped once at the start of the game
Goals/Saves
Puck will need to be played out from behind the net.
Defensive team will need to clear the offensive zone completely prior to attacking
Failure to do so will result in a warning
Continued disregard for warnings will result in a penalty shot (to be taken at the end of the game)
Pucks out of play will be awarded to the defending team.
Please note that Kyle Hockey does not tolerate abuse of officials, scorekeepers and/or staff. Additionally overly aggressive behavior will result in a removal from the tournament with no refund
Per City Rules the consumption of alcohol in the pavilion or on the pad around the rink is strictly prohibited
Parking is extremely limited, Street parking is allowed, please allow for this when coming to the rink
Players and teams are encouraged to bring canopies and chairs.
It is expected to reach mid to upper nineties, please prepare for this accordingly. Stay hydrated, bring coolers and stay in the shade as much as possible.
There is a gas station for drinks, snacks and a cleaner restroom across from the rink and there are several food locations close to the rink
D3 Will be split into an upper and lower division for playoffs and championships
