Our fearless, ball dodging, joke making, baseball enthusiast leader has gone to be with the Lord. Coach Chris brought so much joy to our team and anyone who knew him. He made his players feel valued, seen, and loved.

There will never be another Coach Chris. But our boys will continue playing ball because that's what Coach would want.

Thank you for showing up for my family in this dark time. There are truly no words I can say to express my gratitude enough.

Pray for all of our boys and families. This has not been easy but we know God has got His hand in all of this.

Our boys are headed to Dalton, GA this Sunday for the PSA Back 2 School Classic! 👑⚾

As they hit the road and step onto the field, we’d love for our friends, family, and followers to cover these boys in prayer. 🙏

If you ever wondered what an 8U baseball coach actually does… apparently, the answer is everything. 😂

Coach. Doctor. Cheerleader. Search and Rescue. Mediator. And, when the boys need it most… professional clown. 🤡⚾️

Because coaching isn’t just teaching kids how to hit, throw, field, and compete.

It’s listening when they’re frustrated.
It’s calming them down when emotions get big.
It’s encouraging them when they doubt themselves.
It’s teaching them how to handle disappointment, work through conflict, be a good teammate, and keep going when things don’t go their way.

And sometimes… it’s just making them laugh.

These coaches give these boys so much more than baseball. They’re helping shape the kind of young men they’ll become and that matters far more than any score on a scoreboard.

So yes… they’re just 8U coaches.

But to these boys, they’re a whole lot more. 💙⚾️

And honestly, they deserve a raise. 😜

**Update.. Depending on weather tonight and field conditions, we may be at Base Knox Athletics at 6pm. Please reach out to Coach Chris if you are planning to attend tonight so that he can keep you updated.

We have open practice tomorrow, August 12, at 7:15 at Powell Levi on field 2. Come get some quality reps in and learn more about our program.

We are looking for just 1 more player to complete our roster.

The boys got their fall season started this weekend, and they came ready to play. They went 4-0 and brought home the championship!

After taking some time off for summer break, this weekend was a great chance to knock a little rust off, get back into game mode, and try some different things.

The bats were hot all weekend, and we saw some really good plays in the field. Just as importantly, we found a few things we need to clean up before the next one.

Proud of how these boys competed, encouraged each other, and got back out there together. There’s plenty to keep working on, so it’s back to practice this week!

We're opening our practices to players who want to experience our team firsthand. We'll continue holding open practice tryouts until we find the right fit.

We believe great players are built through consistent instruction, hard work, and coaches who are invested in every player's growth. We're looking for a player who loves the game, is eager to learn, and wants to be part of a team that values character, competition, and family.
