We are a professional basketball team representing Longwood, FL and operating as a member team of the Florida Basketball Association.

Minor league professional basketball team representing Longwood, FL in the Florida Basketball Association (FBA).

Home court: Lyman High School. Single game tickets: $15

GOALS:

- Showcase high quality basketball in a family friendly atmosphere at an affordable price.
- Provide elite playing opportunities and promote all-around player development both on and off the court.
- Establish partnerships with other professional basketball teams, especially with the NBA.
- Provide elite Sports Management and Administration opportunities via career, internship and externship opportunities.
- Become an active contributor within the Central Florida community.
- Extend our sphere of influence beyond Central Florida by creating strategic partnerships with humanitarian organizations that make a positive impact throughout the world.
- Convey a Christian message of hope through a variety of methods, including but not limited to Christian basketball camps, involvement in Christian outreach ministries, and the promotion of Christian music!

🏀🚨🏀 ANOTHER SEASON 1 THROWBACK. 2010. Florida Flight vs. Franklin Knights - WBA Basketball‼️ Tie game. We put the ball in Dwayne N. Foreman II’s hands to get the go ahead bucket, then seal it with the trusted, pesky defense from Ernest Jones!

So much cool Florida Flight history in the vaults. Yes - we’ve ALWAYS recorded everything. We’ve ALWAYS been winners…ALWAYS had fans…ALWAYS put on a show.

Coach King and the Florida Flight’s newest edition, Mcleon Charles, spent Saturday morning promoting our Florida Flight Basketball Academy at the Magic 107.7 Annual Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Longwood yesterday - our first major community event since COVID. The response was INCREDIBLE. Hundreds of kids and parents interested in our upcoming Pre-Boarding (free trial day) sessions coming up, as well as our FUNdamentals and Basketball Basics classes.

We will be at the Magic 107.7 Easter Egg hunt thus morning. Come by our booth in front of Longwood City Hall and say hello to Coach King and some of our newest players! If you have child that is interested in basketball, grab a flyer for our Florida Flight Basketball Academy. Our newest class, FUNdamentals, is starting up this month.
