John Willis, our assistant superintendent, has announced his retirement from this role. Over the past five years, John has been a dependable part of the Creek Country Club team and an important part of caring for our course each day. We are grateful for his hard work, dedication, and steady presence, and we’re thankful he plans to continue helping part-time. If you see John out on the course, please join us in congratulating him on his retirement and thanking him for all he has done for Falling Creek.
Note from John:
The stars are aligned, telling me it's time to step back from being your Assistant Superintendent at Falling Creek CC. These past 5 years have been extraordinary, having worked for outstanding people like Angie & Marshall, getting to know and interact with great folks like yourselves, and working alongside great professionals in course management, such as Wil Sutton and Tyler Sutton, and a superb club professional, Kyle Simpson, coming on board. I've learned so much, with more to learn, but unfortunately, my body is throwing in the towel. I will continue to work part-time in hopes of having time to join most of you for some enjoyable rounds of golf. You should be proud of Tyler and his level of expertise. FCCC is, and I'm sure will continue to be, a great country club for all of us to enjoy. Having mowed my share of grass over the past 5 years, all I ask is that we all take that extra moment to help the maintenance crew by repairing divots and ball marks and raking traps to keep this course attractive and enjoyable. God Bless to all!
