What an incredible day at Bethel Christian Academy as our school came together to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders and military members who serve and sacrifice for our communities and our country. 🇺🇸
Our Patriotic Spirit Day was a HUGE success! Our students, teachers, and staff went all out in their red, white, and blue! 🇺🇸🎉 Congratulations to Mrs. Ingram’s 2nd Grade and Mrs. Sterling’s 8th Grade for winning our Patriotic Spirit Contest and celebrating with an ice cream party! 🍦🏆
One of the most incredible sights of the day was the North Lenoir Volunteer Fire Department arriving with their ladder truck and raising a huge American flag over our campus. 🚒🇺🇸 Seeing Old Glory flying high above BCA made an already special day even more meaningful.
The BCA Booster Club was honored to host a spaghetti dinner for our first responders, military members, and their families. 🍝❤️ A special thank you to the Kinston Fire Department, North Lenoir Volunteer Fire Department, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, New Bern Fire Department, New Bern Police Department, and our active and retired military members who joined us for dinner and participated in our 9/11 recognition ceremony.
A HUGE shoutout to Sheriff Jackie Rogers for joining us and volleying the ceremonial first serve of our Varsity Volleyball game! 🏐🇺🇸
The competition continued throughout the evening! 🔥🏐⚽️ Our Trojans and the New Bern Christian Academy Mustangs battled it out on the court and field with some intense competition. Congratulations to our Varsity Soccer team on a nail-biting 3–2 TROJAN WIN! 💙🏆⚽️

Today was about so much more than sports. It was about remembrance, gratitude, service, community, and honoring those who answered the call.
