**Mr. Socks — A Rare Opportunity from Blue Point Stables**

Blue Point Stables rarely offers a horse for sale—in fact, Mr. Socks is the first horse we can recall publicly marketing in approximately 10 years. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a horse who has been part of our program.

Mr. Socks is a 2017 Thoroughbred gelding by Belmont Stakes winner Union Rags. He stands 16 HH and weighs approximately 1,200 pounds. He is unraced, although he did spend time at the track.

A hunter type with less “go” than many Thoroughbreds, Mr. Socks comfortably jumps 2', has jumped higher, and has a good lead change. He has been shown at local shows for several years and is best suited to an intermediate rider who will appreciate his big personality.

We are selling Mr. Socks because he has made it clear that being a lesson horse isn’t his calling. We want to find him a home where he can enjoy individual attention and a lifestyle that suits him.

And he certainly has preferences! Mr. Socks loves his creature comforts—a comfortable stall, plenty of pampering, and someone who appreciates his character. Full-time pasture living is not his idea of the good life.

🍂 Local Businesses & Community Organizations — We’d Love to Have You Join Us!

STRIDE Equine Therapy and Blue Point Stables are bringing our community together for a Charity Horse Show & Fall Festival on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM–4 PM, and we are looking for local businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, and community organizations that would like to be part of the day.

Our biggest goal is participation—not fundraising.

There are lots of ways to get involved. Your organization could host a kids’ activity or game, set up a booth, donate prizes or supplies, sponsor an attraction, provide an in-kind donation, offer a giveaway, or come to us with your own creative idea.

We want this to be a true community event, where local organizations can meet families, share what they do, and help create a fun and welcoming fall day.

🍁 Admission will be by donation, making the festival accessible to families throughout our community. Proceeds will benefit STRIDE Equine Therapy and our mission of empowering riders, building confidence, and changing lives.

We already have some wonderful community partners joining us, and we would love to add your business or organization to the day!
