FRBP will begin regular hours of operation starting tomorrow, Monday, June 8! Thanks for rolling along with us as we made adjustments during these bonus weeks of spring operations!

You will notice a change in our hours of operation from year’s past! Last year we experienced a significant and sudden decrease in ridership and specifically a dramatic decrease in riders visiting on Saturdays. It feels odd as a recreation business to be closed on Saturday, but we need to make adjustments based on last year’s experience! We have added Mondays, which we have received requests for in the past, and we will explore adding bonus days or hours when appropriate! Also, if you or your riding buddies haven’t ridden here in a few years, make time to check us out! ⏳

FRBP will be opening for the 2026 season tomorrow, Saturday, May 22 at 10am! We will be open tomorrow 10-5 and Sunday 9-5. This is the earliest we have ever opened, and trails are in spring conditions. The dirt is soft and sticky with the occasional wet spot. Trails will certainly benefit from rider traffic, and we will have a few trails closed to start: Leather Lane, Arrowtree, and the first 1/2 of Fern Gully. We have done a ton of work around our network, with substantial upgrades as well as a thorough spring cleanup. As well, we have a brand new black diamond trail, Dark Roast! This trail has a handbuilt tech top and a machine built finish with a larger stepdown. Give it a look on your first lap! This year, we are psyched to partner with and to include a $5 gift certificate to each business for every season passholder! We are psyched to get folks back on the trails. Seeee ya up here! ✌️

We are stoked to share our 2026 FRBP Trail Map! It’s been a few years since we last did a new map. This year’s version reflects new trails, cosmetic upgrades, and, most significantly, a major orientation switch to make the map easier to read, especially for riders new to our trails. We have worked with the same local rider, Barry Turcotte, to produce our map since we first opened. This edition came out great! Check out our website for a full size version, and physical copies will be available at FRBP. 🔍

On the spring hustle here at FRBP! Corners and lips refreshed on Hotwatt. Brand new trail Dark Roast: hand-built black diamond tech upper opening up into fast machine-built lower w/ large step-down. Refreshed rock roll and new bridge on Stanley. Long standing problem spots addressed with significant upgrades on Leeway and Boundary Trail. Drainage work on Traveled Way. Lots of raking. Sourcing locally-milled Maine Hemlock from Readfield for our woodwork. More touch-ups planned throughout! We are committed to maintenance and a crisp product. Make time to check us out this season! ✅✅

Checking in from the Ridge! Absolutely gorgeous crisp spring day up here today. We are stoked to share that we are at 100% snowmelt and have completed a full assessment of the trails. Our trails have come through the winter in excellent shape! Certainly wet in places after the past week but to be expected. Now it’s time to get things dialed in for the season…clearing blowdowns, raking, leaf-blowing, upgrades, touch-ups, refreshes etc. as well as letting things dry out and harden up! We generally do not set a date for opening day, it is entirely conditions and weather dependent. Historically however this has been late May or early June! Lots to share as the season gets rolling, stay tuned! 👂👂

We are excited to share that our 2026 Season Passes are now on sale! Season Passholders represent a core part of our ridership here at FRBP, and we are grateful for their support! One of our business goals for 2026 was to increase the value of our products for season passholders through partnerships with other local businesses, and we are stoked to announce that every 2026 Season Pass comes with a $5 gift certificate to both and ! Both of these businesses are strong supporters of our local community at large and our local and regional MTB scene, and we are psyched to partner with them.

As well, we are excited to roll out a lower priced college student season pass, for currently enrolled college students!

Finally, if you are looking to even further support our trail-building efforts here at FRBP, we encourage you to check out our Builder Pass! Our Builder Pass is a premium level season pass that directly supports trail construction and maintenance, and comes with an exclusive branded long-sleeve T as well as 2 free transferrable day passes to share with your friends!

We look forward to sharing updates as we get rolling into the 2026 Season and please check out our website (in bio) for additional information. Cheers! 🤜🤛

Please join us for our End of Season BBQ and party tomorrow, Saturday, October 18! The trails are in excellent condition and will be fully leaf blown. We will be debuting a brand new trail, Dark Roast! Dark Roast is an advanced hand-built tech trail named in honor of the scent of roasting coffee from wafting through the woods. It’s fresh and loamy and needs some traffic! As well, the Golden Gourd will be hidden around the network. Find the gourd and return to the Bike Hut for a free 2026 Season Pass! We’ll have retail items on sale. At 3pm we’ll start serving a free BBQ, all are welcome! And we’ll have a bonfire and the tunes bumpin’. We will be open from 9-5 Saturday and 9-noon on Sunday so that we can join in the fun Bike Park closing day. Make a weekend of it and come on up! Weather looks incredible! ☀️
